Struggle Doesn't Mean Failure
The other day I heard someone say, “just because you are struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing,” and it resonated with me.
A lot of women equate struggle with failure and that use to be me, until I made it to the other side and discovered that struggle usually equals lessons learned, growth and eventually…prosperity.
Rarely will anything be handed to you on a silver platter. Sister, you will have to bust your butt to get what you want out of life. You will have to get uncomfortable and be unsure. You will have to go without sometimes. And that’s okay. It’s all a part of the journey of getting to success.
I didn’t wake up one day a best selling author or a serial entrepreneur. I had to work hard. I had to sacrifice. I cried some days and wondered if any of it was worth it. There were days I opened the refrigerator and there was only enough for me to feed my kids, and I did just that. I learned how to go without the latest fashions and thrift shop at Goodwill. I figured out how to make a dollar holler!
Your success isn’t going to happen overnight. It’s going to take YEARS of putting in the work, making adjustments and yes…struggling, before you finally figure it all out.
But in the end…it will be so worth it.
